Many of the stores have large glass walls that give a pleasant sense of space. “In order to create open floor areas, we therefore chose Lindab’s Atrium heating panels above all the exterior windows,” continues Lars Muhola.
Carl Hanssons Ror & Varme is one of the largest and longest established plumbing and heating companies in the Stockholm area and have worked with Lindab over many years. “We have been responsible for the entire plumbing
and heating contract here at bo:x,” says Jens Maartmann, Project Manager at Carl Hanssons. “Since this is a turnkey contract, we chose the products and solutions ourselves, and because Lindab offers a good solution for
diffusers and beams, we opted for that.”

Kungens Kurva, south of Stockholm with its large IKEA warehouse has been luring those who are keen on interiors for many years. With the new, exciting design and home interiors arcade bo:x, that pulling power is certain to increase.
 
“Those who are interested in interiors are going to feel very much at home here,” says Jennifer Romare, Centre Manager at bo:x.
Anyone who enjoys a comfortable indoor climate is also certain to feel at home, since bo:x has 420 Architect Moon chilled beams and 20 Atrium heating panels taking care of that. In the 20,000 m2, black pentagonal building, the shops are divided over three floors.
 
“When it came to the indoor climate solution for the 10,000 m2 shopping area, we were first thinking about passive chilled beams, but we began wondering whether we should combine the diffusers and beams in order to make the installation simpler, have fewer units in the ceiling and greater flexibility when in use,” says Lars Muhola the planning manager at Carl Hanssons Ror & Varme who was responsible for planning the project.
 
“We chose Architect Moon because we wanted to be sure that the product would work on a ceiling height measuring up to 3.8 m. Lindab clearly showed using their DIMcomfort models that Architect Moon was a wise choice that provided good air circulation and effect.”
