Lindab awarded Supplier of the Year in Denmark

Last week Lindab Denmark was awarded Supplier of the Year by the Danish trade association Danish Construction Centre (Danske Byggecentre). Danish Construction Centre annually awards a supplier who has made a special effort to promote cooperation with the Danish Building Centre’s member businesses. This year the award ceremony took place at the annual meeting in Nyborg on January 29, where the Danish manufacturer of building components Lindab ran away with the title.

Lindab is among the leading Danish suppliers of building products for home and business. The product portfolio is extensive, but counts among other roof and facade solutions, gutters, doors and steel profiles for internal and external walls. Likewise, the company is known for their innovative solutions for ventilation and indoor climate.

Good service and good cooperation took victory

According to the chairman of the Danish Construction Centre, Poul Erik Grønfeldt, Lindab is a supplier who has made a special effort to strengthen cooperation with building centers. He highlights in particular the company's focus on developing good service solutions to dealers.
"Lindab do particularly well in terms of securing a wide range of products with high quality and delivery and in terms of developing good service solutions to both resellers and end customers. Therefore we have decided to give them this year's award" says Poul Erik Grønfeldt.
Lindab’s service tools include among others calculation programs for doors and gutters, where dealers and customers can add data and get a quote immediately. And with the online tool Profilbus customers are being notified about the delivery date of their order right down to an interval of a few hours.
"Besides our tools, we also try to support the dealers' own campaigns by providing online and offline marketing materials, wall display units with product samples and by participating in trade shows and product demonstrations" says Peter H. Thomsen, Sales Manager at Lindab A / P.
"In addition, we have acceded DB12 and try to keep all product information updated in Construction Base, so dealers can confidently sell our products and guarantee our customers that we take responsibility for them" he explains.
