It is the contractor Oras who has obtained the contract for Fornebu where a competence centre for the Off-shore and Oil industry will be built, comprising offices, commercial spaces and parking. The total area will comprise around 80,000 square metres and is one of the largest construction projects ever in Norway, due ready for opening in 2016. The main part of the installation work will be done in 2014 and the first office is due for completion in 2015.
Lindab’s Business Unit Manager for Norway, John Georg Storvik, commented: “We are pleased that an increasing number of customers choose our new system, Lindab Pascal. Demand-controlled ventilation with variable airflows and Lindab’s unique fan optimisation gives a comfortable indoor climate with low energy utilisation and therefore low running costs. We had simplicity and demand control as guiding principles when we developed the system. It is also very easy to install and operate.”
