Lindab provides new buildings for Stora Enso in Poland

At the end of last year, Lindab received an order to design and supply three steel buildings for Stora Enso’s new plant near Opole in Poland, which is to become the largest sawmill in Europe.

The order is worth approximately SEK 20 million and comprises three buildings with a total surface of 16,000 square meters and includes primary structures, secondary structures, roof and walls. The construction works started in January and are to be completed by the end of 2015.
Anders Berg, Lindab’s President and CEO commented: “The customer requires speedy completion and has high demands on quality and energy-efficiency, which was a strong reason for selecting Astron buildings for this investment. Our Building Systems team has great experience within this type of projects and we look forward to working closely with Stora Enso to ensure a successful completion of the project.”
The customer Stora Enso is a Finnish Group and a global manufacturer in the paper, biomaterials, wood products and packaging industry.
