Apartments off the assembly line

Quickly built, standardised and movable apartments for young adults. That is the concept that the construction company Junior Living is founded on. “There was a gap in the market for small, quickly produced and affordable apartments. A gap that we want to fill”, says Janne Pettersson, owner and founder.

With one housing project containing 124 apartments finished in Knivsta, Sweden and a bigger project containing 272 studio apartments in production, Junior Living is well passed the concept phase. The apartment modules, fabricated industrially  in the company’s factory, are all studio apartments of 32 m2 with a well thought out layout. Roof and walls in every module is made of sandwich panels from Lindab, providing fast assembly and very good energy value.

Lindab delivers sandwich panels made to measure directly to the factory. “Lindab handles the logistics and delivery accuracy in an excellent way, both in the Knivsta project as well as in the ongoing project. Sandwich panels gives a quick and effective module production where every wall I erected in about 30 minutes”
