Metallic overhead parking is today common place in most European countries and the suitability of steel structures has become indisputable. This is a new weapon in Lindab’s armoury, as evidenced in the examples undertaken by builder Scholtes & Brauch.
Picture 1:
By choosing steel, La Provençale, a food-distribution company based in Luxembourg, has thereby gained over 500 spaces for cars, 40 spaces for lorries (at ground level), only seven months building work and a reduction to the minimum of its potential operating losses for an already occupied site. A metal construction was preferred for, among other reasons, its16-metre reach, its lightweight structure and a quick return on the investment.
Pictures 2,3&4:
A global and made-to-measure solution, allowing them to make the best use of the small amount of space at their disposal, is the key benefit that convinced the VW Horsmans & Rosati garage in Bech-Kleinmacher (Luxembourg) choose Lindab Buildings. This four-floor multi-storey car park with a lift is intended to exhibit around a hundred used cars.
