HR100S is a two speed surface mounted extract and intake single room heat recovery unit that gives up to 60% heat recovery. TheHR100S has an extremely quiet trickle ventilation mode and is easy to install. An optional range of sensors are available.
Two speed performance: Low 30m³/h and High 75m³/h. Ideal for condensation control of bath and shower rooms, whilst saving the majority of the heat.
The model comes complete with a highly efficient, polymeric heat exchanger cube.The compact washable cube interleaves outgoing moist warm air with incoming fresh air and allows the heat from one to warm the other without the two air streams mixing. Up to 60% of the heat that could otherwise be lost is transferred to the incoming air, optimizing energy savings. Energy is saved on room heating with no power being used by the cube itself.
Mains voltage units and associated controls must be out of reach of a person using a bath or shower.

The HR100S model requires a nominal 117mm Ø hole through the wall.The wall tube provided incorporates a vertical web to separate the extract from the intake air flow. An external louvre grille is supplied.The unit has a washable acrylic fibre filter. An Extension piece is available.
Apart from removing odours, providing fresh air and recovering heat, this appliance extracts airborne impurities such as dust, dirt and grease. These gradually build up and detract from the efficiency and appearance of the appliance. Therefore to ensure peak performance, the appliance should be cleaned regularly. Filters should be replaced every six months or as conditions necessitate. The heat exchanger and grille should be washed in warm soapy water every twelve months or as conditions necessitate.

Efficiency: The unit should retain up to 70% of the temperature differential of out going air.
Heat exchanger: Should be of a multi plate cross-flow type constructed out of a polymeric plastic with ultra sonic welded joints.
Motor: Should be a 2 speed 240V 50/60Hz A/C with sleeve bearings, greased for life. It shall operate up to an ambient temperature of 40°C and be fitted with a one shot thermal overload protective device.
Fan: The two polymeric fan impellers should be a centrifugal forward curved type, dynamically balanced mounted on a common shaft.
Controls: The unit should be operated via a remote Trickle Boost Switch or via various automatic sensors. A light switch can be used providing a 'timed out' device is employed.
Filter: Should be a washable reticulated foam type coarse filter.
Construction: The unit's internal grille/housing is manufactured from white ABS. A split tube duct 100mm Ø x 400mm connects to a brown ABS outer grille.
