This pre-engineered steel Building was made for Stamco, a supplier of timber and boards/sheets, building materials, garden landscaping products and wood flooring in Eastbourne (United Kingdom).
Lindab Builder Mitchell Design & Construction Ltd of Brentwood in Essex won this competitive design build tender, to construct a 2,800m² timber retail warehouse and yard. An aesthetically pleasing building was created using the Lindab building system to provide a cost effective curved roof.

Independent checking authorities have tested the completed project and a air leakage result of 2.65m³/hour/m² was recorded, less than half of the UK statutory requirement of 10.0m³/hour/m². A good example of how the integrated design and supply of the complete Lindab building product can provide lower operating costs for the end customer and at the same time providing an environmentally friendly and low maintenance building.
