This building, located in the ZAC Bel Air of Saint Louis, was built by BMR, our Lindab Builder on the Reunion Island since 2005, for a huge dealer and distributor of hardware.
Wanting to combine its activities, the customer needed two new buildings.
The first one, dedicated to storage, enabled the customer to get grants from EDF and made possible the erection of the second one.
This 3 floors building (980 m² each floor) includes an underground parking, a sales area on the ground floor and offices on the two upper levels.
On a mixed frame (made of concrete and steel), BMR applied roof, walls with horizontal panels (panels with “rain drop” profiles), a 350 m² indoor mezzanine, perimeter corridors on galvanized frame and steel shuttering, perimeter canopies on galvanized frame, decorative poles and the outside tapped cladding of the stairwell.
Thanks to its very inventive outside architecture (walls and wave-shaped parapet, rounded rake trim), BMR achieved an exceptional building.
The Customer and the Contractor found Lindab concept and finishing touches attractive and were impressed by the respect of deadlines (7 months all trades work).
