Modern Slavery Statement

This statement sets out Lindab Ltd actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business and to put in place steps that are aimed at ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own business and its supply chains. This statement relates to actions and activities during the financial year 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023.

Introduction

Lindab Ltd is opposed to all forms of unethical business behaviour. We recognise the harmful impact that Modern Slavery has on individuals and society and we are absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our activities, and to ensuring that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Our organisation

Lindab Group is an international Group that develops, manufactures, markets and distributes products and system solutions for simplified construction and improved indoor climate.

Lindab Ltd is the unrivalled leader of the UK ventilation industry. With a turnover of £60 million, just over 300-employees and a network of 22-branches plus a UK production facility and distribution centre, it is the UK’s leading supplier of flexible and spiral ductwork.

Our supply chain

Lindab Ltd uses a wide range of suppliers as such it is committed to continuously improving its practices to identify any slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain so it can be handled appropriately according to local and international laws and regulations. Lindab Ltd work to act ethically and with integrity in all its business relationships.

Our policies

Lindab Ltd has a number of policies which aim to minimise the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain. These include:

  • Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption policies which both set out the manner in which Lindab Ltd conducts its business which is consistent with all legal requirements and generally accepted norms and high standards of integrity and ethical behaviour and to maintain the confidence and trust that our stakeholders have placed in us, the business decisions and actions on behalf of Lindab should be assessed in light of whether it is right, legal and fair.
  • Supplier Principles covering issues of honest & ethical behavior, legal compliance, employee rights, human rights, environment, society etc. which our suppliers are all required to comply with.
  • Whistleblowing Policy which encourages and allows all employees to anonymously report, abuses, misuse, irregularities etc. to the organisation without fear of retaliation.

All of the above policies are available to all employees on the company intranet site – Lindnet - or within the company staff handbook.

Our commitment

Lindab Ltd acknowledges its responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act and is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking within its own business and in its supply chains.

Lindab Ltd has a zero tolerance policy towards modern slavery. It will refrain from entering into business, and/or will discontinue any current business with any other organisation which knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery and / or forced / compulsory labour.

Lindab Ltd will implement and enforce a number of measures, policies and controls both internally and externally to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act.

Our actions for 2023

  • All current supplires will again be required to complete a risk assessment questionnaire which will include but is not limited to Business Ethics, Labour and Human Rights, Environmental, H&S and Product Quality.
  • All new suppliers will be required to complete a risk assessment questionnaire which will include but is not limited to Business Ethics, Labour and Human Rights, Environmental, H&S and Product Quality.
  • To evaluate the supplier risk assessment questionnaires specifically, in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking risks and to take appropriate actions if necessary.
  • All new and existing employees are to receive training on modern slavery and this policy.
  • As well as training all employees, Lindab Ltd will look to raise awareness of modern slavery issues by distributing flyers/posters/circulating emails which explain the basic principles of the Modern Slavery Act.
Lindab Ltd will review this policy annually in line with each financial year end.
